The amaran Halo 100x is an ultra-compact 100W bi-color COB light designed for creators who need studio-quality lighting in tight spaces. Delivering up to 84W of light output and 4,890 lux at 1 m (bare), the Halo 100x is over 34% brighter than the amaran 100x S while being roughly one-third of the size. Its wide 85° beam angle provides smooth, even illumination without hotspots, especially when combined with Bowens-mount modifiers.
Flexible power options make the Halo 100x ready for any setup. In fixed studios, you can use the included AC power adapter, while on the go you can power it via USB‑C PD. Paired with the amaran Peak series and the optional Ace E-Lock Adapter, it becomes a travel-friendly solution with up to 40 minutes of runtime at 100% output or 52 minutes with the Peak 75 (limited to 60W).
Controls are intentionally simple. Separate dials for brightness and color temperature plus a clear, streamlined interface keep adjustments fast and intuitive, with virtually no learning curve. For wireless control, pair your Halo 100x or multiple Halo family fixtures to the amaran app with a single tap via built-in NFC, even before turning the light on.
Despite its compact footprint, the Halo 100x delivers studio-ready performance in the same ultra-small body as the Halo 60x. Optimized active cooling keeps noise down to just 28 dBA so you can record clean audio without distraction. For advanced workflows, the Halo 100x supports DMX control via USB‑C and integrates with industry-standard consoles and software using the optional USB‑C to 5‑Pin DMX In & Out Adapter.
The reinforced full-size Bowens Mount gives you access to a wide range of light shaping tools such as mini reflectors and mini Fresnels.
