The amaran Ray 120c is built for creators on the move who need more output without sacrificing portability. This ultra-compact 120W full-color COB light is powered by the OmniColor light engine, delivering class-leading brightness and true-to-life color in a slim, travel-ready body. With an IP54 weather-resistant design, amaran Ace E-Lock compatibility and simplified USB-C PD power, the Ray 120c moves effortlessly from outdoor locations to the studio.

Measuring just 5.1 cm thin and weighing only 599 g, the Ray 120c is comparable in size and weight to many mirrorless camera bodies, yet retains a full-size Bowens Mount. Travel lighter, rig faster and work comfortably in tight spaces. Outperforming competing ultra-compact COB fixtures, the Ray 120c delivers up to 6,850 lux at 1 m bare – around 22% more output than the amaran 150c while being nearly 85% smaller. Pair it with the optional Mini Reflector or Mini Fresnel for even more punch.

Driven by the OmniColor light engine, the Ray 120c produces a fuller, more balanced spectrum with expanded red and blue ranges. You get cleaner whites, more accurate skin tones and consistent color on camera, supported by SSI scores of 87 (Tungsten) and 80 (D56). What you see on set is what you capture in camera.

For ultimate portable power flexibility, you can run the Ray 120c with the included AC power supply, via amaran Ace E-Lock with the amaran Peak for up to 35 minutes at 100% output, or through USB-C PD 3.0 power banks and chargers. This eliminates the need for NP-F or V-Mount batteries and keeps your rig streamlined from run-and-gun shoots to studio productions.

Control is designed to be instant and intuitive. The FlowTurn knob lets you make precise, step-by-step adjustments or quickly scroll through settings when speed matters. In the amaran app, you can pair the Ray 120c and other Ray series fixtures with a single tap using built-in NFC, even before powering them on. With 12 built-in lighting effects, 0–100% stepless dimming, High-Speed Photography Mode, Studio Mode and quiet active cooling at just 28 dBA, the Ray 120c is ready for demanding productions.

The all-in-one creator kit includes the amaran Octa Dome 30 with diffusion cloth and grid, an Ace Lock to Baby Pin Adapter Grip and a dedicated carrying bag, so you can build professional lighting setups wherever your projects take you.
