The amaran Ray 60c is an ultra-compact 60W full-color COB point-source light designed for creators on the move. Powered by the OmniColor light engine, it delivers class-leading output and true-to-life color in an ultra-slim, ultra-lightweight body. With an IP54-rated housing, amaran Ace E-Lock compatibility, and streamlined USB‑C PD power, the Ray 60c is a travel-ready mobile kit that easily transitions from outdoor shoots to the studio.

Measuring just 4.4 cm deep and weighing only 528 g, the Ray 60c is comparable in size to, and lighter than, many mirrorless camera bodies, yet still retains a full-size Bowens Mount. This compact design lets you pack lighter, set up faster, and work comfortably in tight spaces without sacrificing professional light shaping options.

Outperforming other ultra-compact COB fixtures, the Ray 60c delivers up to 3,910 lux at 1 m bare – more than 50% brighter than the amaran COB 60x S while being nearly half the size. Pair it with the optional Mini Reflector or Mini Fresnel for even more focused punch when you need extra intensity.

Driven by the OmniColor light engine, the Ray 60c produces a fuller, more balanced spectrum with expanded red and blue ranges. The result is clean whites, accurate skin tones, and consistent, faithful colors that look the same to the eye and on camera. With SSI scores of 87 (Tungsten) and 80 (D56), it ensures reliable color reproduction across a wide range of lighting scenarios.

For ultimate portable power flexibility, the Ray 60c supports multiple power options. In addition to the included AC adapter, it works with amaran Ace E-Lock batteries, USB‑C PD 3.0 power banks and chargers, and DC 12–24 V sources. Run up to 46 minutes at 100% output with the amaran Peak 75 via Ace E-Lock or up to 1 hour from USB‑C – all without relying on NP‑F or V‑Mount batteries.

Control is designed to be fast and effortless. The FlowTurn control knob lets you dial in settings one step at a time for precision or spin quickly to move through menus when speed matters. Using the amaran app, you can pair and control one or multiple Ray fixtures via Bluetooth, with built-in NFC enabling one-tap pairing even before you power the light on.

With a wide CCT range of 2,300K to 10,000K (extended to 1,800K to 20,000K in CCT+ Mode), green-magenta adjustment, HSI and RGB color modes, 12 built-in lighting FX, and stepless 0–100% dimming, the Ray 60c is ready for any creative lighting setup. Its IP54 weather-resistant design and quiet, adjustable active cooling make it dependable on location and on set.

Included modifiers such as the Octa Dome 30 softbox with diffusion cloth and light control grid, plus the Ace Lock to Baby Pin Adapter Grip with silicone strap for securing your power source, turn the Ray 60c into a complete all-in-one creator kit in a compact carrying bag – ready to go wherever your production takes you.
