The TRP Worldwide China Silk White HEAVYWEIGHT textile is a professional diffusion solution engineered for precise lighting control in film, photography, theatre, and video production. Crafted from 100% natural silk, this fabric provides medium light diffusion that softens harsh shadows and delivers a clean, natural illumination.
Unlike the lightweight ECO China Silk (4.5 Momme, approx. 19.5 g/m²), the HEAVYWEIGHT version features nearly double the material density at 8 Momme (approx. 35 g/m²). This increased weight produces a stronger diffusion effect while maintaining a semi-sheer quality. The material drapes effortlessly, allowing grip and lighting crews to shape and position light precisely to set requirements.
Designed for professional rigging, the textile features grommets on all four sides for secure attachment to standard butterfly and overhead frames. For optimal tension, mounting with optional bungee cord sets is recommended. A dedicated storage bag is included for safe transport and clean storage.
