The Chauvet Cloud 9X IP is a powerful, compact low-lying fog machine designed to deliver dramatic, floor-hugging fog effects on stages, in ballrooms and event venues. Its innovative design operates completely without refrigeration, dry ice or CO₂, ensuring safe, hassle-free use with no special handling, licensing or training required.
Cloud 9X IP produces a continuous, dense low fog using only LLG low-lying fog fluid and ordinary tap water – no distilled water needed. A rear water fitting accepts a standard garden hose, allowing the water tank to be refilled automatically during operation.
With a fast five-minute heat-up time, the unit is ready for show quickly. The integrated water drainage system with a durable brass fitting makes teardown and cleaning fast and clean, even in demanding rental and touring environments. Control is simple and versatile via the full-colour onboard display, RDM, DMX or the included wireless RF handheld remote.
The upgraded housing is corrosion-resistant, significantly lighter than the previous Cloud 9 model and stackable (up to three units high), making transport and truck pack easy. A removable rear cover provides storage space for accessories so everything remains protected and self-contained in the unit. With its IP-rated design, Cloud 9X IP is also suitable for temporary outdoor and wet applications.
Delivering a CO₂-style, low-lying fog effect that lingers for several minutes before dissipating, Cloud 9X IP is ideal for impactful show moments at concerts, weddings, galas, theatre productions and live events of all kinds.
