The Chauvet Vesuvio II is a powerful fog and effect machine that combines dense fog bursts with intense RGBA+UV LED color mixing. It creates stunning, colored “volcano” style effects that bring concerts, clubs, events and stage productions to life.
With an output of up to 40,000 ft³ of fog per minute and continuous bursts of up to 40 seconds, the Vesuvio II delivers dramatic, large-scale effects – perfect for impactful build‑ups, drops and show highlights. The new dual LED sections provide more even coverage and give lighting designers greater creative control.
Designed for efficiency, the unit consumes only 80 ml/min when used with CHAUVET QDF quick dissipating fluid, keeping operating costs low. The integrated 2.5 L fluid tank ensures reliable performance throughout demanding productions. Its rugged steel housing is built to withstand touring and rental use.
The Vesuvio II can be operated vertically, horizontally or overhead using mounting brackets, offering maximum flexibility in stage design. DMX control allows seamless integration into professional lighting setups, while 3‑ and 5‑pin DMX connectors make cabling straightforward. For best results, use with CHAUVET QDF fluid to achieve fast-dissipating, punchy fog bursts.
