The Aputure STORM 1000c Cine Kit is a high‑output point‑source lighting package designed for professional gaffers, studios, and rental houses. It provides a standardized, robust, and efficient way to deploy the STORM 1000c on demanding film, TV, and commercial productions. At its core is the STORM 1000c, a 1000 W color‑tunable point‑source fixture featuring Aputure’s revolutionary BLAIR‑CG LED chipset and secure ProLock accessory mount. All components of the kit are engineered to function as a fully integrated unit, making it easy to handle, quick to deploy, and efficient to store and transport.

The kit includes the CF12 Fresnel, a compact Bowens‑mount Fresnel with a 12‑inch front lens and a 15°–45° spot‑to‑flood range. Purpose‑built for the STORM 100c’s light engine, the CF12 boosts the fixture’s output by up to nine times its native brightness while maintaining an even falloff from center to edge. Its dual‑expanding focusing system moves both the front and rear elements, delivering precise beam control in a compact and lightweight form factor.

Also included are the CF12 Barn Doors, which give you precise control over the beam directly at the lamp. The STORM 1000c/1200x Skid is a stainless‑steel attachment that secures to the bottom of the STORM 1000c. It allows the fully built fixture – including CF12 Fresnel, CF12 Barn Doors, and head cable – to sit flat and safely on the floor, head carts, or shelving without tipping. A rear cutout provides clearance for the head cable when tilting the fixture, preventing unnecessary strain on the connector.

The STORM 1000c excels in color quality and flexibility. Its BLAIR‑CG LED engine combines blue, lime, amber, indigo, red, cyan, and green diodes to deliver an extremely wide color gamut, precise white point control, and accurate green/magenta adjustment across the full ASC‑MITC range. With a CCT range of 1,800 K to 20,000 K, over 90% Rec.2020 coverage in x,y mode, and reference‑level metrics such as CRI ≥ 97 and TLCI ≥ 97, the fixture is optimized for high‑end color grading, virtual production, and cinematic lighting.
