The Aputure STORM 700x is a compact 700W point-source LED fixture that delivers outstanding output and exceptional color accuracy in a rugged, production-ready body. Built on Aputure’s proprietary BLAIR LED chipset with five diodes (Blue, Lime, Amber, Indigo, Red), it offers superior spectral quality and highly accurate white light reproduction for professional film, TV, and commercial work.
With a wide CCT range from 2,500K to 10,000K and full green-magenta correction (±G, full ASC MITC range), the STORM 700x gives you precise white point control to match ambient light, camera profiles, and other fixtures on set. Paired with the included 35° Hyper Reflector, it delivers up to 16,730 lux at 3 meters (5600K), combined with industry-leading fidelity: CRI and TLCI ≥95, plus SSI 87 at P3200 and D5600.
Covering more than 70% of the Rec. 2020 color gamut and featuring smooth, stepless dimming from 0.1–100%, the STORM 700x is ideal for color-critical environments, from narrative features and commercials to high-end content creation. Its IP65 weather-resistant design and robust ProLock Bowens Mount ensure secure, optically aligned attachment of modifiers, even with heavier optical accessories.
The STORM 700x integrates seamlessly into modern lighting networks with comprehensive control options, including Sidus Link® and Sidus Link Pro® app control, LumenRadio CRMX, 16-bit 5-pin DMX512 in/out, and support for batch firmware updates. Dedicated operating modes such as Max Output, Constant Output, High-Speed, Lead-Follow, and Studio Mode provide maximum flexibility across a wide range of production scenarios.
An intelligent cooling system with four fan modes (Smart, High, Medium, Silent) allows you to prioritize either cooling performance or near-silent operation. With nine built-in lighting effects, four dimming curves, and ten savable presets, the STORM 700x is a powerful creative tool.
