The Spots Unlimited Gaffers Control 42 is an all-in-one DMX console designed for mobile, reliable, and straightforward wireless lighting control on professional film, television, and event productions. Housed in a durable, protective StormCase™ shell, this portable console ensures complete operational freedom on set.

Setup and live control are managed through a bright 7-inch capacitive touchscreen (800 x 480 pixels), tactile buttons, and a linear master fader. An integrated LumenRadio™ CRMX transmitter delivers stable wireless DMX transmission up to 120 meters in line of sight, while an industry-standard 5-pin XLR port is available for wired setups.

Powered by a built-in 70 Wh lithium-ion battery, the unit provides up to 10 hours of continuous runtime. It features 42 fixture banks with 4 fader pages across a full universe of 512 DMX channels. Users can program up to 18 scenes with customizable fade times in the cue section, loop playback options, and 256-step resolution on lookup and intensity channels for accurate dimming.

The integrated fixture library supports leading manufacturers including ARRI, Astera, Creamsource, Litepanels, Kino Flo, Quasar Science, DMG, dedolight, LiteGear, and BB&S. Shows, custom presets, firmware, and library updates can be saved and transferred via standard USB storage.
