ARRI M8 MAN blue/silver International (VEAM)

The ARRI M8 MAN blue/silver International (VEAM) is the compact 800 W model in ARRI’s successful M‑Series of HMI fixtures. Featuring patented MAX Technology, the M8 combines the advantages of Fresnel and PAR fixtures in a single, lensless open-face design, delivering outstanding light output with straightforward operation.

Powered by an 800 W metal halide lamp, the M8 achieves a light output that closely approaches that of a 1,200 W Fresnel or PAR fixture with lens. The focusing range from 15° to 60° is easily adjusted via the focus knob, providing an even beam field with crisp, well-defined shadows – ideal for demanding film, TV and commercial lighting applications. Without fragile spread lenses, setups become faster and workflows more efficient on set.

Its compact housing, low weight and MAX Technology reflector make the ARRI M8 a highly portable and versatile solution that integrates seamlessly into existing ARRI setups. Cross-cooling ensures safe operation even at 90° tilt, while the IP23 rating and robust construction are designed for professional, long-term use. Compatibility with ARRI True Blue D12 and Chimera accessories, as well as the ability to use existing 575–1,800 W cables, further increases flexibility on set.
