The Aputure STORM CS32 is a high-output 3,200W point-source fixture for film production, television, theatre, events and photography. Delivering brightness comparable to a 4K HMI, it enables daylight simulation, sunset effects and demanding lighting setups while providing full colour tunability.
Its BLAIR-CG light engine with Extended Red combines blue, lime, amber, indigo, red, cyan and green emitters. This produces high-quality white light with excellent SSI performance and accurate colour reproduction. The 1,800K–20,000K CCT range and full +/- 100% Green/Magenta adjustment allow the fixture to be adapted precisely to a wide range of shooting conditions.
Indigo emitters activate the natural fluorescence of materials for a more realistic appearance. Extended Red improves skin-tone reproduction while maintaining high output. HSIC+ and x,y colour control provide an extensive tunable colour range covering more than 90% of Rec.2020.
With a power draw of up to 3,200W, the STORM CS32 produces brightness comparable to a 4K HMI or 10K tungsten Fresnel fixture. In 220V countries, it can operate at full power from a 16A circuit. Depending on the region, suitable cables are included for professional power systems and household circuits.
Despite its high output, the STORM CS32 remains compact and portable. The lamp head weighs 17kg, while the control box weighs 10.8kg. This makes the system suitable for mobile crews, confined locations and flexible lighting setups. Multiple lamp heads can also be rigged closely together to create powerful arrays in limited spaces.
The 7.5m head cable can be extended up to 45m with additional cables. This allows the lamp head to be positioned on a cherry picker or elevated platform while the control box remains on the ground with its physical controls easily accessible.
