The Cardellini Head-Lock® (HL) is a patented quick-release tie-down for Mitchell base heads. It bolts to the bottom of the head with a 3/8" bolt and stays attached to the camera head through mounting changes.
The Head-Lock replaces a separate tie-down: the locking unit passes through the center of the Mitchell mount, allowing you to securely lock and unlock the head within seconds. Turning the knob extends three angled jaws that clamp the head firmly in place, providing a fast, precise and reliable connection for professional film and video setups.
Note: Does not fit some Arri gear heads. For Oconnor heads, use the dedicated OCHL version.
