The Aputure STORM 1000c is a 1000W, color-tunable point light designed for high-end film, TV, and video productions. Powered by the cutting-edge BLAIR‑CG LED chipset and equipped with the robust ProLock mounting system, it delivers outstanding brightness, superior color fidelity, and rock-solid reliability on set or on location.
The proprietary BLAIR‑CG chipset combines blue, lime, amber, indigo, red, cyan, and green diodes for exceptionally smooth color mixing. With 14,200 lux at 1 m (5600K) when used with the included 45° Hyper Reflector, the STORM 1000c provides immense output while maintaining ultra-high color accuracy.
Its wide 1,800K–20,000K CCT range covers anything from warm candlelit ambiance to crisp daylight and dramatic mixed-light scenarios. Advanced white point control with green/magenta adjustment (±G 100% full ASC MITC range) ensures perfect matching to other fixtures and camera looks. Covering over 90% of the Rec.2020 color space, filmmakers gain access to an extensive creative color palette.
A stepless dimming range from 0.1–100% guarantees flicker-free performance – even at just 24 lux at 3 m (5600K). Dual output modes (Max and Constant) allow the STORM 1000c to adapt to different production needs without sacrificing color stability.
The new ProLock accessory mount keeps modifiers securely in place and perfectly aligned, minimizing adjustments and maximizing the performance of optical tools such as projection lenses and Fresnels.
With multiple control options – including Sidus Link®, Sidus Link Pro, LumenRadio CRMX, Art-net, sACN via etherCON, and 16-bit DMX512 – the STORM 1000c integrates seamlessly into any professional lighting workflow.
IP65 weather resistance makes the fixture ready for demanding indoor and outdoor shoots. Four fan modes (Smart, High, Medium, Silent) give operators precise control over cooling and noise levels, ideal for sound-critical environments.
